In September 2020, Laura Shang, the Managing Partner of Know-How Law Firm, was invited by East China University of Political Science and Law to teach Legal Negotiation course of 2020 first semester for their Juris Master.
The course was divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the first part of this semester, lawyer Shang introduced legal negotiation from the aspects of negotiation preparation, practical skills, strategies, body language and negotiation psychology based on foreign legal negotiation theory systems and domestic legal practice experiences.
The second half semester courses mainly focused on negotiation skills practice. The students of ECUPL had great performance and gained a lot from the mock legal negotiation.
Lawyer Shang has ever taught legal negotiation courses for postgraduate students at East China University of Political Science and Law and Tongji University, which was well received by their teachers and students.
Laura Shang says that negotiation skills are very important to students for their further legal professionals works.
